By the 8th move of a chess match, there are almost 100 million possible outcomes! More likely than not, by move 15, your game has never been played before. Of course, this is considering ALL possible outcomes, including terrible moves. While there are thousands of ways to open a chess game, I will cover a few of the more basic chess openings for you to try out. A few key principles you should know about opening:
